Spatial Resources E- Newsletter Becomes LIDARcomm
In an effort to provide a more focused communications resource to the worldwide LIDAR industry,
the Spatial Resources e-newsletter will become the LIDARcomm e-newsletter, part of a far-reaching effort to more broadly promote
the LIDAR industry.
This effort
is being led by the LIDARcouncil, a group of major LIDAR companies committed to promoting the industry, increasing the number
and type of markets where LIDAR technology is applied, and educating consumers to the uses and benefits of LIDAR technology
and its applications. LIDARcomm stands as the vanguard communication resource
to promote the industry. Key elements include the following:
· LIDARcomm Web Site—A
permanent source of independent, objective LIDAR information
· LIDARcomm E-Newsletter—A
weekly transmission that promotes LIDAR technology and applications
· LIDARcomm Conference
& Exhibition—An exclusive LIDAR showcase put on by the industry, rather than by outside interests
· LIDARcomm Magazine—Distributed
to 40,000 professionals in the fields of GIS, remote sensing, natural resources, oil & gas exploration, mining, surveying
and AEC.
